“Jeezussss fuck I’m SORRY!!!”

Internally screaming but externally 🤷🏼‍♀️🚑

Couple that with the immense shame of my actions..

Listen - I knew I was at fault

But how do you stop the instantaneous reaction of your body’s NFL star defense team going 0-60 mph in .3 seconds.

“I didn’t fucking SEE THEM”

Yelling through the closed windows.

But it was indeed my fault.

I was peacefully driving the ambo to get tacos last night with Cam and I was so invested in the corners of my la-de-da brain, how warm the weather was, and whatever Cam was talking about

That I tottalllyyyy missed a younger than me couple with a stroller (sus) waiting to cross the road.

And I just blew clean tf passed them.

In my defense - they were far from being on the road and they both kinda blended in with the bland wall behind them LMAO.

Plus if you’ve ever driven a 1995 Ford E-150 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel engine - you know that you are NOT stopping in a moments notice.

Especially when you’re barricading down the potholed, twisty, anarchist roads of Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

I can barely hear myself THINK driving this thing around lol.

And these things happen.

I don’t call myself Kate the Human for no reason.

It’s for when things like this happen I can’t cancel myself because I said from the start I’m a human and make ✨mistakes✨

BUTTT the older bald guy that kinda looked like my moms ex boyfriend mixed with my childhood best friend’s dad - who WAS patiently waiting for the couple to cross..

Was indeed NOT impressed.

Him and his shitty grey Nissan Altima were both looking at me with disgust.

And honestly - I was annoyed.

I’m literally an AMBULANCE!!! I’m busy saving lives!!

A facade I have admittedly accepted as a mental advantage whenever making an mistakes on the road.

But lucky for both of us - I can see my fault, know I fucked up, accept it, and move on in about 3.5 seconds.

Call it being an Aries or a squirrel brain but it do be true.

And thousand of moments happen like these everyday.

Moments where I royally fuck up, feel shame for it, then confess my sins on the internet because I preach creating authentic and real content.

LOL jk.

Moments like these where life REMINDS US of the work we do, how we practice what tf we preach, and WHY what we do is important.

I’ve transmuted these many times.

Everything from “not knowing what to post” and giving a play by play of my exact thought process of wanting to just not post, getting distracted with online shopping, and spending 1 hour writing an 100 word post just to be like - YEAH I ALSO DON’T KNOW WHAT TO POST SOMETIMES!!! DOESN’T MEAN I DON’T POST AND SHOW UP FOR MY BIZ THO!

OR how almost hitting a couple in the road gave you a come to Jesus moment about why life is so fragile and thats why you do career coaching because you’re life could end at any moment so at least be in a field that you actually fucking like.

Your life is FILLED with content.

Not in an ewy goey unprocessed I’m going to the local town Facebook group to bash on bald guy for being a dick OR talk shit about people.

But in a - I’m a thought leader, I’m a human, and I’m a mother fucking EXPERT at what I do.

And I see ways to remind you of that, over and over and over again.

WPC #2: I want you to CONNECT something you did personally WITH your business

When you can learn to think + create content like this - you've MADE IT!

As someone who is posting and creating content for many hours a week - there is nothing more powerful on Facebook when you master a post thats selling WITHOUT selling.

This is done so through storytelling, connecting your day to day life to your offerings, and NOT making people feel like they are being sold to.

So this week I want you to do just that.

What did you do this week/this weekend and how does it connect to what you're offering in business? How do your current habits reflect your work which therefore reflects your business?

How can you be relatable, tell a story, and connect it with spotlighting your expertise?

Don't overthink it - go with what your mind is telling you now and dive into it.
